I have no "Christmas spirit", but my geek spirit persuades me to give out
free copies. Of course, if meeting turnout is at a record high, then
the familiar faces will get copies first then everyone else will have to
draw. Or do one of Doug's challenges >=)

Apress sent me a box of 20 of these things. Close friends, family, and
contributors are also on the list, and I'm letting some lose into the
wild via Book Crossing. 

I hope this prompts demand for an immediate Perl Mongers meeting. And
if you want to do something nice and generous for me (and generally
kiss up), write a nice book review for Slashdot, Amazon, books.perl.org, or 
whatever. 

Seriously, Phoenix Perl Mongers gave me an outlet to vet ideas for 
explanations for the thing, and for that I'm grateful.
