Hmm.. regarding using perl and installing perl packages on a Win32 machine,
I'd really reccomend you use the ActiveState 'port.  (www.activestate.com)
and their packages (www.activestate.com/packages/zips)

To install a downloaded ActiveState .ppd, you'll need to unzip it somewhere
and then type this:
ppm install <ppd filename>

There's also a gui-oriented version of ppm (vpm, I think, or something akin
to that) but it doesn't play nice with corporate firewalls so I've never
been able to use it.
