It?s a big city so not devoid of crime but I don?t think you could ask for a safer part of the city. Lyft, Uber and a cab would be also very easy to get from the location of the meeting but I don?t think that?s necessary?philly?s a great walking city, one of the best. -morgan > On Jun 11, 2018, at 1:50 PM, Walt Mankowski wrote: > > Brian and I take Septa regional rail home after the meetings. I grew up in the comparably transit-challenged city of Gary, IN. Compared with their bus service, even SEPTA's Route 79 (the Snyder Avenue bus), with its comically low frequency after about 6 PM on weekdays, is an upgrade. > _______________________________________________ > Philadelphia-pm mailing list > Philadelphia-pm at pm.org > http://mail.pm.org/mailman/listinfo/philadelphia-pm > > From curt at tilmes.org Mon Jun 11 11:59:55 2018 From: curt at tilmes.org (Curt Tilmes) Date: Mon, 11 Jun 2018 14:59:55 -0400 Subject: [Philadelphia-pm] June 11: Linked Data In-Reply-To: <5F820D0A-8C9A-41A6-AA2B-09AE05DD2FD5@morganjones.org> References: <20180607135308.GA34611@haraka> <37ddc12b-7942-250b-8b63-d0b511cc1c18@phoenyx.net> <20180611175004.GA27936@mawode.com> <5F820D0A-8C9A-41A6-AA2B-09AE05DD2FD5@morganjones.org> Message-ID: FWIW, I drive in and park at 1540 Vine St ( http://www.philapark.org/gateway-parking-garage/). Paying for a cab or ride-sharing service seems like overkill. If you're feeling unsafe I'm sure someone from the meeting could walk you there.
