Still figuring out what was at the bottom of some of those rabbit holes. For instance, while "Nil" is a thing, it doesn't come up in the example I gave of a false postfix 'if' expression (nor does Mu). Instead that gives an empty 'slip' : $ perl6 -e 'say (1 if False).perl' slip() $ perl6 -e 'say Nil.perl' Nil Brian From waltman at pobox.com Tue Sep 13 12:09:22 2016 From: waltman at pobox.com (Walt Mankowski) Date: Tue, 13 Sep 2016 15:09:22 -0400 Subject: [Philadelphia-pm] Regular phl.pm meetings In-Reply-To: <29752.1473783921@plover.com> References: <20160829134227.GA50605@haraka> <29752.1473783921@plover.com> Message-ID: <20160913190922.GA5829@mawode.com> On Tue, Sep 13, 2016 at 04:25:21PM +0000, Mark Dominus wrote: > > Thanks again, Brian. I'm not sure I'd ever need to do any of those things myself, but it's good to know it's possible. :) > Bar Camp Philly has not yet been announced, but in the past it has ben > held in November at the Jon Huntsman building at Penn, on 38th and > Walnut Streets. > > The web site is: http://barcampphilly.org/ CPOSC, the Central Pennsylvania Open Source Conference, is being held on November 16 in downtown Lancaster. In that order. I'd appreciate if you helped me spread the news. e.g. by letting your Perl Monger members know about it. If you have a web site, and don't mind, I'd also appreciate a link to the main page of the "show" or to one of the individual entries. regards Gabor ps. Also if you have ideas who to interview, or if you yourself would be ready to get interviewed, please let me know. -- http://www.pm.org/faq/hosting_faq.html pm_groups mailing list pm_groups at pm.org http://mail.pm.org/mailman/listinfo/pm_groups ----- End forwarded message ----- -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
