Or maybe everyone is waiting for Perl 6 to settle down?

In any case, we might want to give Damian the election results and let 
him pick the talk.  If he is extra pumped-up about something other than 
"Sufficiently Advanced Technologies," we would probably benefit from 
making that the subject of the talk.
