Do you mean domain-specific languages? Something like controlling a soda
machine using a language specific to the soda machine (e.g., a
'eject_drink' function) that's translated into Perl code without the
user's knowledge? Or for the Pragmatic Programmers among you:

   Item 17: Program close to the problem domain.

That would be cool.
