[pgh-pm] Free hardware for Pittsburgh Perl Mongers

Fellow Pittsburgh Perl Mongers,

Moertel Consulting has too much hardware and too little space.  If you 
want some of the following hardware, it's yours -- FOR FREE.  Just let 
me know before noon Wednesday (4/9/2004), and I'll bring what you want 
to the meeting.

Here's the deal:

- If you want something, email tom-pghpm-free-hardware at moertel.com.
   DO NOT SEND EMAIL TO THE LIST.
- First come, first serve.  The first email that claims an item wins it.
- All hardware is used and offered on an AS IS basis.

Here are the items up for grabs:

1.  APC Back-UPS Pro 650
2.  APC Back-UPS Pro 650
3.  APC Back-UPS Pro 1400
4.  APC Smart-UPS 1400
5.  Server
     - Mini-tower case
     - Dual i686/433 procs (Celerons)
     - 768-MB RAM
     - Floppy
     - No hard drives, network, or video
6.  SAG Electronics "901" Full Tower Server Case
     - This is a *full* tower case.  Lots o' drive space.
     - It ain't light.
     - Includes a power supply, but I wouldn't trust it.

Notes:

- All of this equipment has been out of production for
   at least 12 months.  The batteries in the UPSes are
   therefore probably dead; plan on replacing them.
   (You can get inexpensive batteries at RefurbUPS.com)

- If you claim an item, pick it up at the Perl Mongers
   meeting.  If you don't show, I'm giving the item to
   the first person at the meeting who wants it.

- To avoid disrupting the meeting, you can pick up your
   hardware at my car AFTER the meeting is over.

- I reserve the right to reallocate the hardware as I see fit.
   (In other words, don't be greedy.)
