Don't forget that PLUG (www.plug.org.au) is flying Paul Fenwick coming to Perth on Tuesday May 1st with a talk entitled "Awesome things you've missed in Perl 5.10", starting 7pm at City West Lotteries House, 2 Delhi St, West Perth 6005. Its a free talk, so bring all the Perl people you know. PLUG also has a Linux & Open Source themed Quiz Night on Monday week - the 26th of March at the Moon & Six Pence. Murray Street. Tickets at the door are just $5 each, and we're making up tables of 4 so bring some friends, or find some on the night! There's a conference admission for Linux.conf.au up for a raffle as well as other prizes. Our next Perth.pm scheduled meet up is for Wednesday 4th of April - and I was going to co-locate this with Port 80, the Perth web developers meeting at the Universal Bar in Northbridge. Unless anyone has anything else to recommend, I was going to talk about DBIx::Class and my recent experiences with it - but some of you may know this (set of) module(s) better than I so come along and share your experiences! This is in the Perth.pm calendar now...
