This year the Open Source Developers' Conference (OSDC) will be hosted in our
nation’s capital, Canberra from Monday 14th - Friday 18th November 2011. OSDC is
a great way to meet your peers, share your knowledge, and improve your skills.
We have a number of sessions available during the main conference (16, 17, 18th
November), please feel free to submit multiple papers - presentation length can
be 20 minutes (30 minute session) or 45 minutes (1 hour session) - allowing time
to field questions and transition between talks.
Miniconfs will be held on Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th of November. Let us know
if you are interested in organising a mini conference for one of these days (or
even for half a day).
Presentation topics can cover the creation and use of Open Source technologies -
software, hardware, open data, databases, visualisation, cloud computing, web,
programming languages, frameworks, system administration, government - WE WANT YOU!
Presenters for the main conference and miniconf organisers will receive free
entry to the conference (one free ticket per miniconf), and the admiration and
love of the Australian Open Source community.
For more details, and to submit a presentation proposal online, please refer to
our websitehttp://osdc.com.au . You can also follow us on
twitter @osdc2011.
