You forgot to ask:  Is Twitter "top-posting 2.0"?

In seriousness and in general, I think it might be hard to find data for 
these trends.  Most of the social networking companies seem pretty 
protective of their stats.  Meanwhile, mailing lists die off and 
multiply, etc.
