Huh? I've never had this problem. When you say "must be careful" does
Cygwin do something weird if you try to run, say, "dir"? Or are you just
saying that your Windows reflexes are messed up because the commands you're
used to on a Windows command shell aren't there?
If its the former... what is any Windows directory doing in your PATH?
