To everyone interested in an informal discussion group regarding good
programming practices:  the book's not necessary.  Sure, reading good
information on the subject can be a benefit and it's always great to have as
a long-term resource, but it's still quite possible for me to rap your
knuckles about your variable variable names without you having a book at
your side :)  (variable variable names was not a typo)
