Hi!

In a few weeks there's an Open Source conference in Oslo!

     * GoOpen 2011
     * March 22nd and 23rd 2011
     * Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel, Holbergs plass, Oslo
     * http://www.goopen.no/program/

There'll be plenty of interesting speakers, including Simon Phipps
(ForgeRock, Sun Microsystems), Evan Prodromou (Status.net), Erik
Möller (Wikimedia Foundation), Smári McCarthy (IMMI.is, fsfi.is) and
many others.

GoOpen is the biggest Open Source conference in Scandinavia, and a great
meetingplace for anyone who cares about FLOSS, Open Standards and issues around
this. The main goal is to give the Norwegian public sector a good place to meet
and learn.

This year GoOpen has five tracks, ranging from the high-level non-technical, to
technical introductions on a wide range of matters. Topics the conference
touches on include Data Openness, Open Source use in projects, Open Source and
society trends and important technical issues like the major move to IPv6
currently going on.

Here's a small taste of what you can expect at the Technical and
FSCONS tracks at GoOpen:

     - Building social software
     - iPhone vs. Android vs. HTML5
     - Experiences around migration to IPv6
     - How to choose the right FLOSS license for your needs
     - Fighting distributed denial of service attacks
     - Peer to Peer education
     - Cloud Computing and Regulatory Policies

Kind regards,

- The GoOpen program group, Christer, Martin and Salve
