Hello Bob,

A face to face meeting might be a good idea.  I live in the Altamonte
Springs/Casselberry area.  You name a date and location that is good for
you and we can see if anyone else would be interested.

My previous note was short and I not sure what was wrong with the web
page as I had trouble later getting it to show once.  I will again cut
and paste what I have pulled up under the 'lynx' browser:

If we can get this group to take off and be useful we might have to
re-register with PerlMongers a new entry (I have wanted the Orlando
name) to point to our stuff.

I did setup another maillist at egroups but had only one other interested
person sign up.  That resource has an area to post files and setup and
schedule events.  I am on several other lists run by other people and
it appears to work for them.  But if you all are not interested in using
egroups for some reason my feelings would not be hurt.

I am active in a Linux group called LEAP-CF <http://www.leap-cf.org> and
we have some good people particpating there and some are programmers.
Not only do they promote Linux but are active in promoting open source
tools and projects.
