I would rename it assignment_6, instead of assignment 6, as usually, bash prefers that anything separated by a space, is considered an argument to the program.<div><br></div><div>Even more, I would probably add .pl to the end of the filename, so as to ensure that you can tell what is a Perl file, and so on.</div>

You want to save all this in a file called, for example, "<a href="http://hello.pl" target="_blank">hello.pl</a>". Then, you run it by running "perl <a href="http://hello.pl" target="_blank">hello.pl</a>". What OS are you on?<br>
