For our 2014-05-20 BALUG meeting we're proud to present:
Elizabeth Krumbach Joseph[1] on Ubuntu[2] 14.04 LTS "Trusty Tahr"[3]

Ubuntu 14.04 is the latest Long-Term Support (LTS) release from the
Ubuntu community and Canonical[4]. This talk will be a tour of new
features, offer an overview of what both desktop and server users can
expect from this release and an update on the progress of Ubuntu on
Phones and Tablets.

Elizabeth Krumbach Joseph is an Automation and Tools Engineer at HP[5]
working on the OpenStack[6] Infrastructure team. She is a member of the
Ubuntu Community Council and is a co-author of the upcoming 8th edition
of The Official Ubuntu Book. Here in San Francisco, she serves on the
Board of Directors for Partimus[7], a non-profit providing Linux-based
computers to area schools in need.
