[oak perl] Area intro C or C++ programming classes?

Hi Group--

Does anyone know of a local community college or similar that offers
an introductory-level C or C++ programming class over the summer?  My
wife's 6th grade class is going to be competing in the BotBall
(www.botball.org) next year, which involves programming robots in C,
so she's interested in a very intro level class on either C or C++. 
The Berkeley Extension's offering look much too advanced for what she
wants.  Anyone have any recommendations?
