[oak perl] Hello....introducing myself

Hello Oakland Perlmongers...

George Woolley suggested I introduce myself as a recent subscriber to 
the list.... well, I'm an IT professional, I've been working with Unix, 
Perl, and Oracle (in that order) for many  years, and I'd like to 
network with other Perl users in my neighborhood (East Bay) -- so I 
thought I'd sign up.  I've seen the daily digest for a few days now and 
you all don't look too scary... so hopefully I'll see some of you at the 
February meeting tomorrow evening...
