We're looking for a Lead Software Engineer with great Perl skills in either
the SF Bay Area or the DC area.

Lead Software Developer
Nextrials is looking for a Software Developer experienced in Perl, Apache, and web-based applications for immediate full-time employment. This position reports directly to the CTO.
Nextrials is a small, privately-held company with a friendly working
environment and a strong spirit of teamwork.
Responsibilities of this position include programming, taking a lead role
in software design, coordinating with other developers and staff during the
requirements-gathering, implementation, and testing process, and solving
problems creatively.
A successful applicant should have good communication skills and knowledge
and/or prior experience with the design and implementation of medium-to-large
object-oriented software projects, particularly web-based applications using
relational databases.
Our development environment is based on free Unix, Apache, and Perl, so any
candidate must have strong experience in these areas.
Specific skills desired include:
Perl
mod_perl
Apache
JavaScript
XML
relational database experience
Also a plus:
CVS
PostgreSQL/MySQL
UML or similar software design documentation and modeling
