[oak perl] Member Profiles - a request for

All,
For many different reasons,
it would be useful to have more Member Profiles.
E.g. for prospective members, speakers, etc.
to quickly get some sense of the group.
E.g. to remind us of our diversity
and at least the basics of people's backgrounds. 
 
There are two profiles at

It would be great if you could send me
a brief (50 words max) profile for yourself similar to those.
