that is creating a revolutionary exchange technology for derivative products

Longitude that represents a breakthrough in the evolution of worldwide
derivatives markets.  Longitude's derivatives exchange process has received

trillion market for derivative instruments.

Longitude's products are currently in the development phase, with an
expected launch in Q3 of 2001. We are a rapidly growing company with
substantial financial resources, seeking individuals who are interested in
working in an atmosphere where teamwork, critical thought, and the quality
of execution are paramount.  The company is actively seeking a Senior
Software Developer.

The Senior Software Developer will participate in all phases of applications
development, analysis, design and programming.

Responsibilities:
*	Develop new applications using leading edge technology
*	Ensure timely completion of all deliverables, specifications
reviews, specification approvals and code acceptance tests by the
development team
*	Develop full knowledge of the firm's products and businesses and
apply this knowledge to initiatives in area of expertise
*	Implement applications in accordance with defined scope and schedule
*	Thoroughly test development
*	Identify areas for process improvements on an ongoing basis
*	Utilize strong problem solving skills
*	Lead development projects

Qualifications & Skills:
*	Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Math or EE)
*	5-10 years of software development experience in Perl, C++, Java, or
C
*	Should be familiar with concepts such as information modeling,
object orientation, communications protocols, multi-layer architecture and
Web applications
*	Experience in web technology development, including a firm
understanding of object oriented methodologies, the software development
lifecycle, and collaborative development tools such as source control and
bug tracking
*	Strong implementation capabilities for application software
development projects.
*	Experience writing native user interfaces (e.g. Tcl/Tk, Perl/Tk or
Visual C++) preferred
*	Experience with Linux or Unix preferred
*	Strong verbal and written communication, organizational and
interpersonal skills
