Perl Programmer/Site Implementer
New York City

The RiskMetrics Group, a global pre-IPO Financial Internet/Software company,
is immediately seeking an Perl Programmer/Site Implementer to develop
cutting edge risk management products.

Responsibilities Include:
·	Join a development team building high-end web financial applications.
·	The existing product (http://www.riskgrades.com) involves Perl data
manipulation and graphing (GD), Oracle user/portfolio maintenance, Java
visualization, XML data transfer and socket communication to our back-end
analytics server, among many other systems.
·	The site runs on Solaris using Apache web server (with mod_perl) and
interfaces using XML with our back-end analytics running on NT.

Background/skill requirements:
·	Advanced Perl experience
·	Apache Server with mod_perl
·	HTML/Javascript fluency
·	UNIX
·	Graphics manipulation experience (not design per se)

Desirable but not required:
·	Oracle (or other SQL), XML, C or C++, Java, Financial experience
