Unix/CGI/Perl programmer with excellent communication skills to be the
technical resource for their content channel teams.  In this role, the
successful candidate will not only put his/her technical web skills to
use, but will also participate in the development of a content product
by making recommendations regarding functionality.  A great opportunity
for someone looking to have more input into a web product than straight
coding.  At least 2 years of CGI/Perl experience required, preferably
in a FreeBSD/Linux environment.

2. Our client owns and operates the #1 TV Network, Kids, and Sports
sites on the Internet.  They are currently staffing up in their New
York City location in their development area.  Strong
CGI/Perl/Javascript/HTML developers are needed to keep up with their
rapid growth.  The successful candidate will work with over 5,000 pages
of content targeted primarily to daytime TV audiences.  An incredible
opportunity to work for the largest, most successful media company in
the world. 2+ years experience required in CGI/Perl and Javascript.

3. Our Client is a Major Sports League with headquarters in New York
City. They're currently involved in an initiative to expand their
presence on the web, and they're seeking a strong Unix/Perl web
developer to be part of this exciting project. The successful candidate
will work with Producers and Editors to support the infrastructure and
tools of several of the world's most high profile sports websites,
including team sites.  2+ years Unix/Perl experience required.

4. The following full-time Perl programming positions are available
with a prestigious international financial firm in the downtown area.

senior opportunities:

a) The Equity Derivatives and Convertible Bonds Technology Group of a
large financial institution on Wall Street seeks a Junior Programmer
Analyst to work with middle office user groups (Finance and
Operations). In this position you will be responsible for the full
project life cycle: gathering requirements, specifications, design,
coding, and implementation of projects in conjunction with the other
product groups within the Derivative Technology organization. The
middle office user communities primarily use the core Derivative
systems, with specific needs, particularly linkages to an array of
other finance and settlement systems (links predominantly use Perl and
Unix shell scripts, as well as PC tools - Tcl/Tk, and Excel).  This
position will report to the Project Manager CICG - Global Equity
Derivatives (Finance and Operations) in NY.

b) Global Equity group is looking for a Senior Programmer/Analyst to
work on the Client Connectivity Architecture group.  Must have 5-7
years developing in client/server environment.  Working knowledge in
Equity processing environment is a must.  Must have working knowledge
in object oriented technology in UNIX and NT, C++, Sybase, Perl, TCP/IP
sockets and multithreading.  Distributed technology CORBA using Orbix,
MQ series, Visual Cafe Java on Windows NT is a definite plus. Knowledge
of the FIX protocol would be a distinct advantage. Responsibilities
include supporting and/or maintaining a global 24 hr. system.  (day and
evening support).  Interacting and testing with clients worldwide and
continuing to maintain and to meet the needs of the Business Management
Group.

h) Project Manager- Manager system development of Client Reporting.
