PHP parses perl when you put it inside the PHP pages.

A PHP.pm wouldn't work in this case, perl syntax here is the ambassador to the
server pages community.

But then I'm not so crazy about trying to make html into a applications
programming language.

Personally, I think the web is dead (long live the net)
