PRODUCERS - LEGO Mindstorms/Technic

LEGO, the well-known Danish toy company is looking for producers to join
its growing NYC Internet team.  Producers will work on content/
community for LEGO Mindstorms and LEGO Technic, two brands that target 7
to 16 year olds.  LEGO Mindstorms, the new robotics line of products,
has also generated quite a bit of attention from older "kids," including
hackers.

Candidates will have strong management, communication, organizational
and visual skills, as well as the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
A Bachelor's degree in a communications-oriented discipline and 1-2
years professional experience managing web projects is required.

Responsiblities include managing and developing production within the
diverse site areas while overseeing daily and weekly production
deadlines and maintaining relationships between design, production and
editorial staffs. Must be able to define specifications, scope and
resources required for new editorial and design ideas. Must understand
the Internet and be able to create compelling content and manage
in-house contribution and outsourced relationships. Must have strong
overall understanding of online production, be able to write fluent
HTML, and have clear, working knowledge of web publishing software (such
as Photoshop, Fireworks, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash etc). Producers
must be able to manage and maintain the creative vision through their
understanding of user interfaces and web production.
