Exciting new Internet start-up in beautiful Silicon Valley, Manhattan, NY!
Join a highly motivated team that is developing compelling B2B applications
for other Internet companies. Early stage company is seeking a dedicated,
energetic person to join our development team. This full-time position
includes competitive pay and stock options.

Responsibilities:
- Work with company founders to lead product architecture design and
development for flagship B2B Application Service Provider (ASP) product
- Assist in determining development strategy and infrastructure requirements
for high availability B2B applications
- Assist management team in determining product development strategy,
staffing requirements, and product development timelines
- Assist in establishing testing and Software Quality Analysis procedures

Desired skills:
- Software development management experience - including commercial software
applications, server-side web based applications, and high-availability
applications
- 5-10 years OOD, software development experience
- C++ or Java (4+ years of either). Understanding of developing web server
components is required (Java servlets/ActiveX controls).
- Database design (4+ years) - includes expert knowledge of SQL, and
preferably MS SQL Server or Oracle
- XML (1-2 years)
- Experience with Active Server Pages is desired (database interaction
required)
- CGI/Perl (3+ years)
- HTML & DHTML (3+ years)
- JavaScript, VBScript (2+ years)
- Understanding and proficiency with web server software, MS Internet
Information Server and/or Apache
