NYC-Perl ,Java, screen design

I have not posted to this board before so I am sorry if this is not in the
correct format.  I have a client in NY that is looking for several strong
perl / Java programmers.  The following is a statement of work.  Please call

This is for a financial firm.  
Day to Day Responsibilities: They are currently putting together mock up's
right now.  Another group is designing a database and this group is
designing an Internet screen.  The main duty will be designing and knocking
out screens, getting feedback in interactive prototype process to implement
in October.  There will be some skills training for others on the team if
they get the longer contract.  The consultant will also give input as to
what the long term architecture should be. Once it is determined what some
of the other projects will be the will be putting together screens to access
the database and generate reports that can give clients data in an excel or
fixed format.  The consultant will also be asked to help work out the
connectivity between Solaris and getting to the DB2 data on the mainframe.

Lifecycle and Deliverables There is a deliverable for a prototype of
November 1, 1999.  Project will probably go longer.

Skills Inventory. 
· Required Skills: Strong Perl, HTML, Java, DB2 for a long term contract
(Sybase for short term)
· Desired Skills:  XML, financial experience, and strong communication
skills.

Technical Tradeoffs If they have a DB2 background the contract will be for 6
to 12 months.

Unique Attributes: Opportunity to build something from scratch, help
determine an architecture, and set a standard on the first wave of a major
initiative in a high end IT atmosphere.
