[Nottingham-pm] Sorry for the quietness

Hi local PerlMongers,

Firstly, let me apologise for the lack of action here on the Nottingham
Perl Mongers mailing list - I've been through the mill here what with
being made redundant (http://tinyurl.com/3gd7q), having that redundancy
rescinded whilst being bought (http://tinyurl.com/393hy), and then
having to piece together the I.T. infrastructure for the new company
with very little information and very little support (how I despise W2K
Advanced Server and Exchange). On the lighter side, I squeezed in a
midweek break at CenterParcs Sherwood Forest
(http://www.centerparcs.co.uk/sf/sf_c1_intro.jsp) with the wife and kids
and managed a bit of gardening whilst unemployed for 4 days.

My aim here is to begin the discussions for our inaugural meeting -
first ideas are to piggyback on the first of the Nottingham GNU/Linux
Users Group Perl discussions (for dates see the NLUG list and site
http://www.nottingham.lug.org.uk/2004-calendar.html). But what do folks
think?

Regards,

Michael.
