[niederrhein.pm] Perl at Fosdem in Brussels on January 31 and Februari 1 2015

Hi all,

Perl will have their own devroom at Fosdem in 
Brussels and I think it is the finest track of 
presentations ever.  We have a big booth with 
tuits, buttons, stickers, toy camels, brochures, 
books for sale and of course the largest library 
of Perl-books in the world and the big Perl camel.

We have a nice devroom in the same building (K) 
as the booth, and we have made a very nice 
schedule with some famous speakers and some excellent topics.

On Sunday we have two talks in the Languages 
track in J building, in the largest room of 
FOSDEM (1400 seats).  Dana Jacobsen and Larry Wall will speak about Perl.

On Friday night it is beer night at Delirium 
Café.  It's mostly heavy beer.  The place can 
hold a lot of people, but at some point it is 
full, the alley of the café will be full, and 
security will close off the alley, only allowing 
people in when other people leave.  So if you go, don't go late.

If you want to join us for dinner on Saturday (in 
La Porteuse d'Eau, we got 70 seats) 
and/or  Sunday (La Becasse, we got 50 seats), 
please send me an email telling me which 
dinner(s) you want to join.  You are expected to 
pay € 20 for dinner, the rest will be 
sponsored.  Also, don't forget to tell me any 
dietary requirements (vegan, vegetarian, or 
severe allergies that have to be taken into 
account, and maybe we can handle that).  Only people who mailed me can join.
