Hi, I'm not a recruiter or in Human Resources, I'm just a developer in
California, and the company I work for is looking to hire a couple of
people, one in New York, one in Munich, and for some reason our HR has
been unable to find anyone with (much of) the right experience.

This is not web development (none). We're looking for someone strong
in database (pref. Sybase and/or Oracle), Unix (any shell) and Perl to
do ETL (parse data in whatever form, load to database, maybe generate
reports). Financial industry experience and C/C++ are a plus.

Most of the work though is SQL and perl.
