Hi all:
Not sure what (if anything) has been decided, but here's an exhaustive list
of Hennepin county library locations and hours:
http://www.hclib.org/pub/info/locations.cfm
Information on reserving meeting rooms is here:
http://www.hclib.org/pub/info/MeetingRooms.cfm
If there's sufficient interest in a meeting next Wednesday (Aug. 13th) I'd
be happy to try to reserve a room.

Hello John:
Nice to see you on the list and I'm looking forward to meeting you. I
think the critical point is on if we have a projector and internet
available in the meeting room. I believe this is a a requirement of
our presenters.

Ian, are you still here? :)

Welcome Nick!
Right We are trying to secure a venue for next week, so if you are
around, stay on the list and you will know where to show up.

Hi MJ:
Every library I've been too offers free wireless; I can't vouch for all of
them.
Surely someone (or their employer) must have a projector we can use. I'll
ask our IT guys if they can spare one for an evening.

Only the projector, actually, for most presentations.
> Ian, are you still here? :)
I am. Sorry, up to my eyeballs in non-Perl stuff right now.
I did some digging on the library web sites, and I think the best we can
do is Thursday 11 September from 6:30-8:00 at the Nokomis library. (When
I say "best", I mean "first available evening slot on a Tuesday,
Wednesday, or Thursday at a central venue with sufficient capacity".)
But we'd need a projector. If someone can commit to providing a
projector for that date, and the people who've volunteered to provide
talks can commit to being there, then I'll go ahead and book that slot.
If anyone can find a better time slot or location, then do let me know.
Thanks,
Ian
