A sudden change of plans means that this New York City-based Perlmonger [1] and Parrot contributor [2] will be spending several vacation days in Montréal starting in two days, Thursday, 08 Sept, departing probably Sunday, 11 Sept. If there's a chance to meet up with some local Perl folk early on Thursday evening or Friday evening (6:00? 6:30? 7:00?), that would be great. I'll be staying in the Ville-Marie neighborhood and am familiar with the Montréal metro, so I shouldn't have difficulty finding any location you might choose. A good selection of draft beers would be appreciated! I suspect my cell phone doesn't speak Canadian, but I will be checking my email somewhat regularly over the next few days. I hope that the resurgence of your Perlmongers chapter encourages other Perl folks to make Montréal a vacation destination. Contexte: intranet pas trop exposé. Présentement j'utilise mediawiki monté sur un stack bitnami (bitnami.org) très facile, mais je m'interrogeais sur les alternatives "légères" en Perl. Among Perl-based wikis [Perl-based http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_wiki_software #], which would you recommend? Use case is a light duty intranet-like environment (not too exposed). Currently I am using mediawiki installed on a BitNami stack (bitnami.org) very easy but I was wondering about "light" Perl alternatives. Merci et salutations/ thanks & regards, ---Jean
