Event: Technical Meeting
Date: Wednesday 22nd October 2008
Times: from 7pm onwards (see below)
Venue: The Old Joint Stock, 4 Temple Row West, Birmingham, B2 5NY
Details: http://birmingham.pm.org/cgi-bin/brum.pl?act=tech-next

This month is a special occasion, as we have a notable visit from Milton
Keynes Perl Mongers, who will also doing a couple of talks for us.
Please come along and say hello, and hopefully learn a thing or two
about Perl as well :)

Once again we'll be at The Old Joint Stock, in their Club Room at the
back of the pub on the ground floor. The room has been booked from
roughly 7pm, but if you turn up earlier it shouldn't be a problem. If
anyone asks, say you're with Barbie from Birmingham Perl Mongers and are
there for the meeting. Food is available until about 9pm, but order when
you get there so we can start the talks after we're all fed and watered.

* Logging With Perl [Tom Hukins]
* Role Base Access Controls [Peter Edwards]

Unfortunately Tony Edwardson has had to cancel his attendance, although
we potentially have Oliver Gorwits pencilled in should he be able to
make it. If anyone wants to do a short talk, please let me know.
