Quick look shows that average (in USD $1000) for Australia is around 90,<br>
while limiting to 4 years or more Perl raises it to around 100. We<br>
hadn't reached parity last year, so these would be slightly higher in<br>
AUD, but there's already heaps of guesswork in these figures, eg salary<br>
bands are 30k wide.<br>

For me, that's probably enough for now; I think we're unlikely to get<br>
anything enough better than this to warrant the effort, and we might<br>
well get something worse and not know it. I'd guess we'd get higher<br>
figures if we accurately measured the PM group, but I could be wrong<br>
(these surveys are also self-selecting) and the accuracy is the tricky part.<br>
