G&#39;day folks<br /><br />Government agency in Canberra looking for a Perl programmer with a scientific background. Desired traits:<br />- Good Perl programming skills. Don&#39;t need to be an expert. Knowledge of modern Perl well regarded.<br />- Experience working in a team environment using an Agile methodology.<br />- Appreciation of and commitment to good software engineering. <br />- Self-discipline, resourceful, organized<br /><br />The following scientific skills and knowledge would also be highly regarded:<br />- time series and frequency domain analysis<br />- performing mathematical inversions <br />- signal processing<br /><br />The successful candidate will be expected to converse closely with scientists during the implementation of scientific software specifications.<br /><br />Contractor rates available.<br /><br />Please email megamic@gmail.com
