Recruiter for Oracle Corporation. We are currently looking to take on two
Technical Architects in our Retail Business Unit. While retail exposure
would be good it is not necessary. More important is that we find people
with strong technical and consulting skills. The roles are permanent
positions and are based out of Melbourne, however they may involve up to 50-60%
travel across the APAC region (travel could be anywhere from 2 weeks - 3 months
depending on projects). Technically we are looking for people with Oracle,
UNIX, Perl, C, Java skills. I have put a brief summary of the roles below,

installation, Quality Assurance, Hardware sizing , configuration ,support and
trouble-shooting for specific Oracle Retail products. A Technical
Architect provides leadership to ensure successful implementation of our
products and provides quality assurance for the technical aspects of the

Middleware skills (e.g. SeeBeyond) , Java/J2EE Deployment experience,
