[the client]
is one of  the Top 10 Aussie ISPs and are growing at a fast rate. Listed on
the NASDAQ, they have offices in Melbourne and overseas.  The Melbourne
office is young and energetic, and a fun and casual atmosphere in a great
city location.

[the role]
is a challenge – you will be responsible for development and maintenance of
difference billing systems, database integration, configuration and
performance tuning. The technology environment is Perl, SQL, C++, Java in a
UNIX/Linux environment. Work in a development team and Liaise with other
technical teams.

[you need]
Commercial experience in Perl, SQL, C++, Java, Oracle HTML/CGI and
UNIX/Linux.
Commercial experience in object oriented programming.
To be familiar with web interfaces to see how the end-product looks and
feels.
Ideally you’ll have billing experience.  You might already be in an ISP, or
from telecommunications.
You like being thrown into a dynamic environment and have ideas and
initiative to do things differently – it is the web after all!

salary is up to $75K based on experience
