It may be a bit busted. I tried adding my profile and got what looked like
an MS Access error (but I could be wrong).

Paul Henry, lives and works in city centre Manchester, 30 years old,
freelance IT contractor but am trying to jump on the start-up bandwagon. In
reality that means I am working for myself at the moment, working on a
couple of potential start-ups with friends or people met through the First
Tuesday North network. Background in 4GL Application Development and
Testing. Been hacking with Perl for about 1 year.

My Perl Projects:
Some basic http, nntp and smtp clients.
A telnet/web load testing tool - which doesn't really load that much.
A bit of Perl/CGI (I really hate doing this stuff)
WAPI - A Web Services API to make trawling sites for content easier

I'm looking to develop contacts, specifically people interested in working
on local projects; learn more about Perl; and enjoy the occasional social
gathering.

Sounds good. I'm not far from UMIST.
