I believe my last message to Maine.pm was five or six years ago. Actually, I was surprised to receive your message. It may be the first in years to the Maine.pm list. Back when I used Perl more, I kept up with Boston.pm. That has been a fairly active list. What kinds of things are you using Perl for? I used to work at fidelity where I used perl to update and move files around. Bill helped me with a few scripts when I was there. I've been playing with it at home and working on some CGI stuff with Apache, and I'm interested in learning more about algorithms and Bioperl. I have a few books that I've been working on to learn more about it. I'm currently going to back to school for my masters in Bioengineering and would really be interested in doing some work with Bioperl. take care, Ryan On Sun, Jan 16, 2011 at 3:00 PM, wrote: > Send Maine-pm mailing list submissions to > maine-pm at pm.org > > To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit > http://mail.pm.org/mailman/listinfo/maine-pm > or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to > maine-pm-request at pm.org > > You can reach the person managing the list at > maine-pm-owner at pm.org > > When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific > than "Re: Contents of Maine-pm digest..." > > > Today's Topics: > > 1.
