on his OSCON 2013<br>
presentation Half my life with Perl.<br>

Here's a description of the talk...<br>
<br>
"Perl is 25, and I'm a bit more than twice that. I've spent half my<br>
life with Perl, and Perl has spent all of its life with me.<br>
The Perl culture influences and has been influenced by Stonehenge (my<br>
company) and therefore also by me. I retell<br>
the best parts of the behind-the-scenes events where Perl, Stonehenge,<br>
and Randal overlap."<br>

This event is co-hosted with the L.A. Perl Mongers.<br>
<br>
After the presentation you are welcome to join us at a local pub TBD<br>
for further discussion.<br>

DIRECTIONS:<br>

Take the Interstate 10 West to the Cloverfield / 26th St. exit, make a right<br>
coming off of the freeway and then veer right on to 26th past the first light.<br>
<br>
After crossing the next light, Olympic Blvd., Demand Media will be on the right.<br>

PARKING:<br>

Parking is available before the kickoff at Demand Media's parking lot.<br>
<br>
There is metered street parking for late arrivals.<br>

UUASC is for all persons using UNIX either personally or professionally, or<br>
interested in learning more about UNIX. We recognize all varieties of UNIX,<br>
including (without prejudice) SCO, Linux, SVr4, Solaris, AIX, HP/UX, and BSD.<br>
This is a good place to meet others with similar interests and broaden your<br>
