Wed Mar 20, 2013 In-Reply-To: References: Message-ID: Guys, > Buddy Burden: *Method::Signatures (Part 2)* > Abstract: TBD Sorry; I should have sent this out earlier: Method::Signatures: A Tutorial Abstract: When last we spoke about Method::Signatures, I was telling you how awesome it was when used with MooseX::Delare. Of course, there's no reason you can't use it outside MXD, where's it's still quite awesome. In this talk, I'll be going over the basics of how to use MS, concentrating on practical applications of the signature syntax. That is, mostly "how" and not so much "why." Hope to see everyone there! -- Buddy -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... I'll be doing a live webcast about Pinto with Randal Schwartz for FLOSS Weekly. Tune in to http://live.twit.tv next Wednesday, March 27 at 08:30 (Pacific Time) to the see the show. Your can send in your questions in real-time via the #twitlive channel on irc.twit.tv. Pinto is a robust tool for creating custom CPAN-like repositories of Perl modules. You can fill your repository with any combination of private and public modules, and then build/test/install them using the standard tools (e.g. cpan, cpanm, cpanp). Since you control the repository, you'll get exactly the same modules every time. Pinto also has some novel tools for tracking and managing changes, so you can upgrade modules with confidence and control. -Jeff -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... If you happen to know anyone in the Salt Lake area who might be interested in getting involved with the local Perl community, please let them know that Salt Lake Perl Mongers is up and running. Or let me know and I'll invite them myself. ...whatever you prefer. Our site: http://saltlake.pm.org It's minimal, but contains the relevant information, including mailing list subscription links. Among other things, we're looking for members, presenters, and a venue. But we do have a date! (2nd Tuesdays at 7:00pm -- April 9, will be our first meeting.)
