Message-ID: I came across this interesting link when looking for Mozart mp3 files. Truly an accidental discovery! http://www.mozart-oz.org/documentation/base/index.html It is interesting that the Oz language, which is the core of Mozart provides high level of concurrency. From the documentation I gain the impression that it will be a good platform for distributed computing. Has anyone here played with it? __________________________________________ Ranga Nathan / CSG Systems Programmer - Specialist; Technical Services; BAX Global Inc. We are on the south side of the street on Sunset where Sunset Blvd and Holloway Drive intersect. Our parking is on the east side of the building off of Palm Avenue. Please enter the lot off of Palm to park under our building (8800 W. Sunset Blvd, West Hollywood). If you have any questions, drop me an email. When you're done parking, take the elevator to reception area on the 1st floor. See you Monday! BTW: If you haven't RSVP'd, please drop an email (really!). Message-ID: <71D28C8451BFD5119B2B00508BE26E640BDBA9EC@pasmail3.office.tmcs> I wanted to thank all of you who could make it to the first tech talk of this year! Randal's presentation was fantastic and I'm thrilled that we filled our theater to it's capacity! We also had a good crowd for the after-presentation dinner at the Red Rock. I also learned a few things in the process which I'll improve when announcing the next event. 1). Better directions to our location. 2). Clearer directions regarding parking. 3). Better RSVP system (emails just don't cut it!) The next planned event is for Geoffrey Young (co-author of the "Mod_Perl Developers Cookbook") to speak when he's in town. I'll warn you now that I'll have little warning as to when this will occur, so this is one of those exceptions where we'll plan the event based on the speaker's availability. All regularly scheduled talks (with the exemption of this month), will be held on the last Tuesday of the month. Mark your calendars. I'll update you on the Geoffrey's talk as soon as I can. You are correct. It was Class::DBI that Randal had issues with (not plain old DBI).
