Position: Perl Engineer for Configuration Management 

Location: Burbank, CA

Type: Contract

Rate: $55 - $60W2

Job Start to End: 1/9/2006 - 3/6/2006 

Job Description: 

Strong Perl developer to help design & implement automated, centralized
application configuration management tool. Previous configuration
management of J2EE/Apache is a plus. 

Skills: Ability to work with people, Linux, Coding, Perl, Design,
Debugging 

Additional Skills: Must do test-driven development/agile software
development practices. 

Hire Details: 

Engineer must have strong OO Perl design & coding skills. Template
Toolkit or other templating system is nice-to-have. Java/J2EE/Apache
configuration experience would be useful. Need to spin up project but do
not have enough in-house resources.
