[LA.pm] Jan meeting and other updates

Reasons Wednesday might be sub-optimal:
* There is a huge national championship college football game being
played in Pasadena that afternoon/evening.  Some might be watching,
traffic might be unusually heavy, or venues with TVs might be packed.
* I prefer Tuesday.
