Dear Friends

I need help! (i know you knew that about me a long time ago....)

I'm on a desperate search for a really good database developer and I'm
hoping for a referral from a friend. (Craig's List served up some real
steamers). And, btw, the budget is decent!

Note: We REALLY prefer people here in LA or someone who can at least make
weekly meetings. Please forward this along if you know somebody...

Thanks!!!!

HELP WANTED: MySQL Database Developer to build dynamic product-driven site

Manufacturing and retail business is seeking a database developer with
hardcore hands-on experience planning and programming the back-end for
product (1000+) driven websites from the ground up.

The site must:

* allow for modification and control of the entire catalog of products
through online administrative tools.

* have areas of the website (including the shopping cart/online catalog)
that are populated dynamically from a MySQL database.

* include a robust store that provides a complete backend management system.
This store must integrate with the current ERP non real-time system

* have an administrative section that allows for updating of the site,
reporting, and access to site data.

* incorporate tools, features, and functionality that allow us to utilize
site and customer data in marketing related activities.

* be programmed in PHP with a MySQL database back-end.

We have the following requirements:

1) You must have solid experience building L.A.M.P. (LINUX, APACHE,
MYSQL/PHP) sites.
2) You must have extensive knowledge integrating a front-end designed in
Dreamweaver consisting of HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, and optimized
graphics files with the backend.
3) You must be organized enough to provide documentation that specifies
schedules, deliveries, and required assets before we start.
4) You must be available for bi-weekly daytime or evening meetings based in
the San Fernando Valley (meaning you should NOT have a full time job we have
to work around).
5) You must be available to work on this project (off-site) by email
communication with one Dreamweaver designer and one marketing specialist
20-30+ hours a week during the months of June, July and August.

Please submit 2-4 LIVE URLs that demonstrate the above requirements and an
explanation of your exact involvement on each project. Expect to provide a
reference (someone we can call/email) regarding your involvement on each
project.

Send these URLs along with your name, phone number and email address to:
webdevelopers2004 at yahoo.com

Finally, if we contact you...you must be prepared to show us the
administrative side of each website (even it's just a few screen dumps)

No resumes necessary at this juncture, just samples. We want to see the work
of someone who has built what we need many times before. Once we narrow it
down to the top 3 candidates we will request resumes from each person and
conduct interviews over the next two weeks.

(Attached documents will be ignored)

Thanks for your consideration.
