My turn to introduce myself:
27 (28 by the end of June ;), living in Liege, I'm a software engineer
focusing mainly
on Internet/Intranet technologies. That's where Perl plays an important
role for me, as CGI scripts and the likes (mod_perl, ...).
I started learning Perl 4 years ago to develop an online application system,
that is a kind of CV webstore. Since then, as Wim said, I've become addicted
to this programming language. I especially like the modular aspects of Perl,
allowing you to develop truly reusable code, as well as its powerful parsing
capabilities.
I'm currently busy developping a WAP enabled solution for an important bank,
but not in Perl unfortunately.
