My first recommendation would be to post to the mod_perl mailing list.
It is a fairly active list, and is populated by people with more
mod_perl clue than you can shake a stick at.

Ralf, the author of ePerl, has moved on to other things, and has not
done much with mod_perl, as far as I know, for a long long time. EmbPerl
was written, at least in part, to provide an alternative to ePerl. I
vaguely recall attending a talk about EmbPerl in 1998 where he talked
about the alternatives, and ePerl was one of the ones he mentioned then.

I'll be having dinner with Ralf next Wednesday night, and I can needle
him about it if you like! ;-)

What is the deadline on this? I can definately ask around at the
conference next week (osscon) and see if anyone has any recommendations.
