[kw-pm] Fwd: UG News: Get Your Free Books + More from O'Reilly

After a string of O'Reilly User Group emails that didn't seem worth sending
to the list, they have review copies of a few javascript books I think
folks might be interested in. The rules, as always (though it's been quite
a while):

If you want any of the below books, let me know, I'll request it/them. You
can keep the book if you review it online (somewhere such as Amazon).

   - Appcelerator Titanium: Up and
Running<http://post.oreilly.com/rd/9z1zl86i0j8npfm9q5mtekp8be9ec9js7c6pq1ellf0>
   - Interactive Data Visualization for the Web
   <http://post.oreilly.com/rd/9z1zmafremngjlv7cu5ekcrit0ofpmg1j0jteogr0h0>

Appcelerator Titanium seems to be a js framework to build native Android
and iOS apps.

The data visualization book is on "D3.js", a JS library to build
W3M-standard compliant interactive visual applications, based solely on
SVG, CSS, and JS. A quick google shows some pretty neat visualizations-
with very tidy source code: https://github.com/mbostock/d3/wiki/Gallery

And finally a video on yet another ("modern") functional language based on
Lisp... :)
