your way if you are going from the University area to the Whale and Ale,

Our annual /pub/social/holiday gathering is next Thursday the 18th, at
The Whale & Ale on Victoria Street in Kitchener. (www.whaleandale.ca)

Convene normal time (7pm), reservation under Daniel Allen. All
welcome, including significant others.

Interested in carpooling? Give a shout here or in the IRC channel.
(We have one driver with room for three riders in the University area).

The runner-up choice, Ethel's Lounge, has their customer appreciation
party that evening; they didn't recommend trying for a reservation and
couldn't guarantee we'd find seats... So: next year, in Ethel's, as they
wrote in the Perlmongers Old Testament.
