(thankfully) -- It *is* a nice language, but man I find it *worse* than Perl 
for code entropy.

Yes, but IMO they *all* suffer from the same basic problem: VERY messy.

SquirrelMail.  PHPbb.  PHPGroupware.  Flyspray.  I can hack the code but lord 
does it seem to get messy in a hurry.  PHP can separate content from 
presentation but it seems to encourage mixing it... Much like the tobacco 
companies "encourage" you to stop smoking with the digusting pictures and 
warnings but they're still selling it...
